Why VPS Exists
I started VPS because I was frustrated.
Frustrated as a parent. Frustrated as someone who played football to a high level, who has close friends who played in the Premier League and for national teams and who could see immediately what was wrong with what Dubai was offering my kids.
The model here is built on quantity. Fill the groups. Take the fees. Deliver just enough to keep parents quiet. The coaching changes week to week, there's no curriculum, no development plan, no real pathway, just sessions that look like football but aren't building anything.
So I built what I wished existed when I first put my kids into an academy here.
I'm a serial entrepreneur. I understand systems, standards and culture. I'm an author and I've spent years mentoring entrepreneurs on performance and mindset. And I know from playing, from watching, and from the people I've grown up with who reached the highest level and that the gap between a good young player and a great one is rarely talent. What ages do you accept for trial sessions?
We welcome players aged 4–17 across all our age groups, from Pre-Academy (U6–U8) through to our Elite Pathway (U17+). If you're unsure which group your child fits into, get in touch and we'll guide you.
How long does the trial session take?
Trial sessions run between 60–90 minutes depending on your child's age group. Pre-Academy sessions are 60 minutes, Foundation and Youth Development sessions are 90 minutes — enough time for your child to experience the VPS environment properly and for our coaches to give you meaningful feedback.
What should my child bring to the trial?
Just football boots, a water bottle and comfortable training kit. We provide everything else including professional-grade equipment. The only thing we ask your child to bring is a willingness to work hard and learn.
What if my child is nervous about the trial?
That's completely normal — and our coaches are experienced at putting players at ease from the first minute. The trial is structured, fun and age-appropriate. By the end of the session most kids don't want to leave.
How do you handle different skill levels during trials?
Every child is assessed as an individual, not compared to others. Our coaches are trained to challenge advanced players while encouraging those earlier in their development. Every child leaves with specific, personal feedback — not a generic assessment.
What happens after the trial?
Immediately after the session we'll sit down with you and share our observations - honestly and specifically. Within 24 hours you'll receive written feedback on your child's strengths and areas for development, along with a recommendation for which group is the right fit.
Can I watch my child's trial session?
Absolutely and we actively encourage it. Watch the session, see the coaching standard for yourself, and you'll understand immediately why VPS parents stay. We have nothing to hide and everything to show.
What's your refund policy?
Your child's trial is completely free — no payment, no commitment. Once enrolled, every player is covered by our 90-day progress guarantee. If your child attends consistently and doesn't show measurable improvement across their development benchmarks, we'll refund your first month in full. No questions asked.
